Thanks to a highly successful initiative commencing last year (with just Greg and myself completing the walk after having decided to do it one week before the festival!) we are regaining a super strong following of the project this year with special thanks to our conscientious sponsors!

First of all, without Rocking the Daisies being so receptive and enthusiastic about this collaboration, there would never have been the space for it - so thank you so much to Brian Little and the team at Complete Events for solidifying our efforts! Also a special thanks to Terri Coppin for coming on board to help with all the tricky management required to step up the project into a full program this year with so many added benefits for everyone!

Then massive kudos and appreciation to our headline sponsor Fruit & Veg City! It is so great to receive sincere support from one of South Africa’s leading brands and a company that is so connected to the environment, who have responded so courageously to this initiative! They are really going the extra mile to provide comprehensive assistance in so many areas of the project. They are providing project budget, food for the walk, a fantastic braai during the overnight, and much more…

Then to Hemporium, leaders in environmentally friendly, who jumped at the opportunity to support us last year with their great merchandise, and have exponentially increased their offer with some fantastic gear for this year’s team - including 100% hemp socks, hats and t-shirts!
